To calculate emissions from your flights

1. Select your starting airport

Type the name of your starting airport, or where you're flying from (e.g. London Heathrow) in the "Flying from" text box. After you've typed a few characters, you can use the drop down menu to select your airport from the dynamic list

2. Select your desination airport

Type the name of your starting airport, or where you're flying to. (e.g. Minneapolis/St Paul) in "Flying to" the text box

3. Select the number of passengers

How many of you are flying? Choose the number of people who are on the trip with you. If you're flying alone, it is just 1.

4. Return or One way?

Is it a return flight? Or are you flying one way? Obviously this will have a big impact on the emissions.

5. Enter the departure date

When are you flying? Click the text box to launch the calendar and select the date you're flying, not the date you're flying back if it is a return flight.

That's it! Hit "Calculate your emissions" to find out how much carbon's produced
